CHAPTER TEN

The next week passed quickly. Thursday night class was basically a walkthrough of what they could expect in the club on Saturday. They’d been given a tour of the club and the equipment. Her stomach was still buzzing with nerves. Now it was Saturday, and she eyed the white box that had been delivered like it was a snake ready to strike. She’d kept herself busy today by cleaning and doing laundry.

Crystal had called twice, telling Sierra she wanted to be there for safety reasons when Max picked her up. Sierra laughed. If she hadn’t felt safe with Max, she wouldn’t have gone out with him or to his home.

She did feel safe with Max. There was something about him that she trusted. It could be his confidence, or arrogance, as some might call it.

Quit being a chicken and open the damn box.

Sierra pulled the end of the ribbon, releasing the bow, and set the ribbon aside. She lifted the lid to reveal lavender tissue paper and an envelope with her name on it.

Opening the envelope, she pulled out the piece of paper.

Sierra,

This is the outfit you will wear tonight at the club. Just the outfit, no underwear. You may choose a jacket or coat to cover you, but once we get to the club, the outerwear will be removed. Footwear is up to you, but at the club, you will be barefoot. I look forward to seeing you.

Max

Wait, no underwear? She vaguely remembered there was something in the rules about shoes, but clothing? Damn, she really needed to read her copy of the paperwork. She parted the tissue paper and froze.

On top lay a light purple sheer lace garment that would hide nothing. She lifted it out of the box by the two dainty straps tied into bows. Undo those, and the entire bodice would fall.

She remembered how much Max enjoyed playing with her breasts the other night. Heat filled her. Next, was a long black skirt. Sierra pulled it out. This didn’t look so bad. Was she ready for this?

She glanced at the clock. It was five already. Oh lord, she needed help. She snatched up her phone. “Get over here,” she said to Crystal then hung up. Five minutes later, Crystal rang her doorbell.

“So good sense finally hit you over the head,” Crystal said, breezing into her apartment.

“Yes, and no.” She shut the door and then pulled Crystal into her bedroom. “Help.” She gestured to the outfit on her bed.

Crystal whistled. “Club clothing.” Crystal turned and put her hands on her hips. “Hair up, into the shower, and shave. Go.”

Sierra didn’t even hesitate. She followed Crystal orders. Why was she even thinking about wearing these clothes? Maybe because she wanted to see if the freedom she’d felt in Max’s arms last week could be repeated.

It was more than that. She wanted Max. She wanted to be with him and in his bed. She’d always regret it if she didn’t find out where this could lead. She
